"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead" - Albert Einstein We're planting an apple orchard in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. I snapped this photo last weekend as we wrapped up a day full of wonder, awe, soil, mystery and hanging with the beautiful tree babies. I won't tell you what was so funny (it was dirty in more ways than one) but I did want to share this moment of amusement, a gift from the mysterious humor gods. Thanks Vermont for the light, love and laughter.
